Rick A. Meyer, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.G.

Dr. Rick Meyer is a native of Warren, Michigan. He is a Summa cum laude graduate of Olivet College, Michigan and a 1986 graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Meyer completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Michigan in 1989. During his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oaks, Michigan, Dr. Meyer developed a special interest in hepatology and completed a Fellowship in Clinical Hepatology at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. Upon completion of the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship, Dr. Meyer accepted an appointment as full staff member to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he served until July 1995 when he agreed to accept a position with G. I. Consultants. Dr. Meyer has authored and co-authored numerous published abstracts and articles in his area of interest, hepatobiliary disease.

Dr. Meyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has a specialty interest in Clinical hepatology and biliary tract disease.

Dr. Meyer and his wife, Renee, have four children, Megan, Lonn, Kylee, and Quinn.
